MGL Kicks off 2024 by Supporting Texas Electric School Bus Project

January, 2024

The Texas Electric School Bus Project is driving the future of student transportation by helping school districts transition to zero-emission electric buses. Supported by the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (TxETRA), the initiative provides districts with resources, funding guidance, and technical support to adopt cleaner, more cost-effective school buses.

Microgrid Labs, a key partner in the project, is offering advanced modeling and simulation tools to help districts plan efficient charging infrastructure and optimize fleet operations. By reducing diesel emissions and lowering operational costs, this program aims to improve student health and advance Texas toward a more sustainable transportation future.
