EVOPT, a cutting-edge system design tool for fleet electrification planning, is making its way into Europe as it is currently being utilized to support the system design of three bus electrification projects. In this project, which include three depots and a total of 225+ buses, MGL is supporting a major European EPC firm. By using EVOPT, the team is able to model, simulate, and optimize the system design in order to minimize capital costs while ensuring that the operating schedule is met and the system is future-proofed.
