MGL participated in the Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) Zero Emission Fleet Transition Plan project to identify the necessary infrastructure required to support MTA’s conversion to a zero-emission fleet. Working closely with the North Carolina-based consulting firm Planning Communities, MGL developed a battery electric vehicle service model to identify vehicle needs, power requirements, and locations for seven depot charging locations. The battery electric vehicle service model was developed for MTA’s paratransit services.
