Brockton Area Transit – Zero Emission Fleet Transition Plan

Client: Brockton Area Transit (BAT)
Location: Brockton, MA

Microgrid Labs provide services to Brockton Area Transit, for the agency’s zero emission fleet transition plan

MGL created the Brockton Area Transit (BAT) Zero Emission Fleet Transition Plan to identify and develop the necessary infrastructure required to support BAT’s conversion to a zero-emission fleet and support their application to the Low or No Emission Grant Program. MGL developed a battery electric vehicle service model to identify vehicle needs, power requirements, and locations for depot charging. The battery service model was developed for transit and paratransit services. MGL identified policy and funding opportunities that would affect BAT’s transition to a fully electric fleet as well and provided an analysis of the workforce to create a development plan ensuring buy in from the BAT workforce.
